Everest Two High Passes Trekking is undoubtedly one of the most popular and adventurous treks compared to other normal trekking routes in the Everest region. You will cross over Renjo La Pass (5,369 m) and explore the beautiful Gokyo valley and Gokyo Lake in the upper Khumbu valley. From the top of Gokyo RI (5,369 m), you will enjoy a more distinct and closer view of the world’s highest peak, Mt. Everest (8,848 m), Mt. Lhotse (8,516 m), the 6th highest peak, Mt. Cho Oyu (8,201 m), Mt. Makalu (8,463 m) Mt. Ama Dablam (6,812 m) and many other snow-clad peaks of Everest region.

Renjo La Pass – Gokyo Lake – Cho La Pass – Everest Base Camp Trekking after Gokyo Lake you will continue a long day trekking and cross over the Cho La Pass (5,420 m) and it takes about 9 hrs. Now you ascend slightly along the valley towards Cho La Pass. The Pass you can pass through is covered with rocks. While crossing the Cho La Pass is most of the time covered with blue ice giving you a chill feeling. Here you can also, enjoy the stunning Panorama views of Lobuche Peak (6,119 m), Mt. Ama Dablam (6,812 m), Cholatse Peak (6,335 m) From Thagnag way crossing the Cho La Pass (5,420 m) the trail descends steeply down for an hour and then slightly descends all the way to Dzongla.

While heading for Renjo La Pass and Gokyo valley you will spend one extra day at Namche Bazaar for an acclimatization excursion around Khumjung village.

Everest Two High Passes Trekking at the same time you will visit Tengboche where a famous Sherpa’s Buddhist Monastery is located. In Thame and Tengboche monasteries you will meet Buddhist monks and see their daily rituals. This is a long trek with many cultural and natural highlights and recommendable only to those trekkers who are keen to walk at higher altitudes for longer days.
