Chengha Tsering Sherpa was my guide for Renjo La Pass – Gokyo – Chola Pass – Everest Base Camp Kala Patthat Trekking Island Peak (6165m.) Climbing in 2014. He was not only the guide but also the owner of High Mountain Himalaya Treks and expeditions Pvt. Ltd.” He was soft-spoken, ever-smiling, and tried his best to explain about the Everest region, people, culture, and the difficulties of the routes. I booked a 19 days trek + peak climbing and completed it in time. The hot meals ‘Dal Bhat’ served with a smile by the lodge owners along the trekking trails were great. Everything was as planned. We ended up finishing the trek in Kathmandu a few days early so Chengha Tsering Sherpa offered me a rest day for 2 days and took me around some of the Kathmandu city sights as well. He was really flexible, always supportive and encouraging even on the tough days in the mountains. He even helped me when I got sick during the trek and took me to the nearby hospital and stayed around to make sure I was ok. He was a really caring guy and a great tour leader. We really love to come back again to Nepal and use ‘High Himalaya Treks and Expeditions Pvt. Ltd’ for our service.

The founder of Buddhism, Lord Gautam Buddha, was born in Lumbini, Nepal. For this reason, Nepal has always felt a special connection with Buddhism and all of its followers.
