Naya Kanga Peak (5,844 m), rises to the west of Ganja La Pass and the south of Kyanjin Gompa (3,749m/12,297ft) is a popular but difficult peak to climb. It is located north of Kathmandu in the Langtang region. The normal trekking route that we follow to Climb Naya Kanga peak is either Syabru Besi or Helambu region. The reward for climbing Naya Kanga Peak is viewing the spectacular mountains such as Langtang Lirung (7,227 m)

Langshisa Ri (6,412 m), Pem Thang Karpo Ri (6,865 m), Dorjee Lhakpa (6,966 m) and Ganeshs Himal Ranges etc. The normal route of ascent to Naya Kanga Peak is via the North–East Ridge over a line on ice and snow. Much of the climb is straightforward, but there is one fairly steep section where belaying is necessary.

The best way you can do is to cross over “Ganja La Pass (5,130 m)” the tricky but direct pass between Langtang and Helambu regions. The climb to Naya Kanga Peak is often combined with a crossing of the Ganjala pass and set up two camps. As there is no teahouse is available between Kyanjin Gompa and Ganjala pass we need to be well–equipped with camping gear, food, and utensils, and camping crew. The first camp is at Ganja La base camp some 500 meters above Kyanjin Gompa and the second camp is a high camp at around 4,900 meters. The summit offers sublime views of the peaks lying along the Langtang Valley and into Tibet.
