Mera Peak (6,470 m) Climbing via Amphu Laptsa Pass trekking is one of the most challenging adventure treks in the Everest region. Situated in a very sparsely uninhabited and unspilt part of Hinku valley, Mera Peak is considered one of the most popular “Trekking Peaks” in Nepal. Climbing Mera Peak is meant to be an opportunity for all the adventure seekers who are physically fit and have a sense of adventure. From the summit of Mera Peak, one will enjoy the amazing views of the 8,000 m highest Himalayan Mountains range that includes Mount Everest (8,848.86 m), Mount Kanchenjunga (8,473 m) Mount Makalu (8,485 m), Mount Lho Tse (8,516 m), Mount Cho Oyu (8,188 m), Mount Shishapangma (8,013 m), Mount Barun Tse (7,152 m) Mount Ama Dablam (6,812 m) and many other satellite peaks.

With a spectacular mountain flight from Kathmandu, our trek will start by from Lukla. You will walk along a high rocky ridge past dense forests and cross several streams before reaching the high pass. After the high mountain pass, you will finally reach the Hinku Valley. Trekking through this Hinku Valley you will sight the blooming of rhododendrons in the spring season. Walking through the Himalayan pine forests is indeed a lifetime experience for every trekker. After several days of trekking, you will cross over the most spectacular and difficult Amphu Laptsa Pass (5,778 m).

After the Mera Peak (6,476 m) summit, the trail will follow to the most spectacular and difficult Amphu Laptsa Pass (5,778m). After crossing the pass you will continue to walk down to Chhukung, Tengboche, Namche, and down to Lukla. From Lukla, you will fly back to Kathmandu the next day.
