Overview
Rara Lake and Far Western Region in Nepal is one of the remote destinations for exciting exploratory adventure. The region is less developed and has fewer facilities available for the visitors due to its tough terrain. Ethnic groups of people seen in the northern parts of the area, particularly in Dolpa are of Tibetan origin. Other groups found here are Magar, Gurung, and the people of Brahmin origin.
The Common fauna seen in the region are leopards, Himalayan Tahr and Blue Sheep. A motorbiking tour to Rara Lake at 2,990m in itself is an adventure, exploring mountains, evergreen forests, lakes, remote villages, traditional culture, and rural life of Nepal. When you ride through the winding mountainous and off-road, it makes the journey rewarding with the peaceful and magnificent beauty of the biggest Rara Lake in Nepal. It is the biggest freshwater Lake where you feel like paradise on earth. Surrounded by green hills on all sides, covered in juniper trees, you can camp by the sparkling waters of the lake.
High Mountain Himalaya Treks And Expedition has designed the Rara Lake motorbike Tour Itinerary in such a way that provides riders an integrated and insightful experience of riding through different parts of Nepal.
