He is a professional guide and climber. With over 20 years of experience, he is widely renowned for his expertise and knowledge in planning, organizing, and guiding successful mountain expeditions. At present, he has established himself as one of Nepal’s foremost expedition leaders. More than 25 times guiding ascents of several highest mountains and over 50 times leading several trekking peaks above 6,000m have marked his career to the highest level in mountaineering. He is renowned as one of the safest hands in the field of trekking and mountaineering. He is also a social activist and a person of influence in the tourism sector of Nepal.

Sunita Sherpa

Executive Director/ Co-founder

A seasoned travel specialist with more than 8 years of experience in the travel industry, she is very dedicated to her responsibilities, looking after the daily task of running tours, and making trekking arrangements perfectly. Her specific areas of expertise include comprehensive travel-related logistical support such as hotel reservations, transport management, applying all necessary permits for trekking and climbing and Emergency Rescue Management. She is administratively very much capable of handling any high volume of official tasks with the ability to clearly communicate with Nepal government personnel and can solve any problems if arises. Her hobbies include traveling, cooking and reading.

Mingmar Tsering Sherpa

Graduate in Business Management, he has proven leadership skills in managing, developing and motivating teams to achieve the objectives of our company.  He has the ability to build productive working relationships with the office team and responsive to potential clients. His attention to detail and meticulous method of working ensures that our clients enjoy a stress-free tour all over the Himalayan regions. He is extremely committed to his assigned responsibilities.

Pema Doma Sherpa

Correspondent Officer

Working as Correspondent, she loves her work and brings a smile to our office every morning. She handles all the secretarial duties in the office and responds to inquiries from potential clients and ensures that our clients enjoy a completely hassle-free tour by arranging all the necessary bookings and responding to any questions they may have.

Narayan Poudel

Senior Accountant

A graduate in Business Management, he joined High Mountain Himalaya in 2011 having gained 8 experiences as an Account Executive with different travel companies. He looks after all auditing services of our company including financial planning, Tax, Auditing, etc. He is responsible for  all the company’s transactions- e.g. bank statements, deposit, invoices and statements issued, cash records, all sales transactions.

Pemba Tsering Sherpa

Hotel Reservation Manager

A graduate in Management with computer literacy, he has started working with High Mountain Himalaya for more than 7  years and has wide experience in hotel reservation, from the initial inquiry to confirming the rooms as per the requirement of the clients. He is friendly, cooperative, and efficient in liaising with various hotels; negotiate contracts and deals on the best rates.

Dorjee Lama

Transportation Manager

He plans, organizes and manages the work of driving staff to ensure that clean, reliable and safe transportation is provided to all our clients in a manner consistent with the policy of High Mountain Himalaya (P.) Ltd.  Backed by various vehicles like Car, Van, Haice, Coaster, Sutlej Bus and a team of excellent drivers, he arranges sightseeing and long tours within Nepal.
