The journey to the Annapurna Sanctuary kicks off from Pokhara with a one-hour drive to Naya Pul (1,070 m). From Naya Pul we trek to Tikhe Dhunga (1540 m) passing through terraced fields of potatoes, mustard, corn, and vegetables, past small villages of stone-built houses.
